I wanted to be more encompassing of the diversity on my f-list, wishing you all 'happy holidays' -- but in Gaelic, that basically translates into 'have a good vacation' so...the sentiment is sincere regardless of your faith. I truly wish you all the very best this season and hope for nothing more than good when it comes to your new year.
Thank you all for the time you spend with me, reading stories, reading Rambles, sharing your thoughts and leaving reviews. I appreciate each of them so very much and have enjoyed your reactions to the stories and having episode-related conversations throughout the year. You all brighten my days, warm my heart, and encourage my muse.
I've received some eCards, V-gifts, snail-mail cards, and special gifts from different people on my f-list and I treasure each one. Some were from overseas, some from one state over, but all make me feel like we're part of a small world and, for a brief moment at least, united. The last seven years with Supernatural have changed my life (which, let's be honest, that could be true of anyone even without Supernatural, but still it's a pretty significant thing to attribute to a TV show), and I am sincerely appreciative of the gifts of friendships, life-lessons, writing practice, storytelling and personal growth you all have been a part of giving to me.
Without you, I would not be the me I am today. Thank you for that.
I'll leave you with a couple of my favorite Irish blessings:
May the best day of your past be the worst day of your future.
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
the rain fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
may God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
PS - There are stories in the works and I am so excited to bring them to life and share them with you. If you're one who reads my stories, I very much look forward to hearing your thoughts. Additionally, thanks to the help of a friend, I will be posting PDF versions of all my stories for download between Christmas and New Years. *poof*
